Charles,
Thank you for the kind words regarding my poem titled, “Spring Is A Cottonwood” Well, I like to keep my poetry short and simple.
However, I enjoyed reading your superbly written poem titled, “Cottonwood” I hope I got your title right?
Comparing this tree to someone you love and adore is very creative. I really like the expression regarding, words being lost in the wind and word gone still. I can see another poem develop from this. Anyway, the nice thing about poetry is that, we can create new expressions from the basic colors in the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet) reflection our humanity. Poetry is improvisation of words. Keep sharing and ask God for wisdom in writing good poerty
